SUMMARY
Wholesale Seafood company is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Representative for Greater New Orleans Area.  Territory is well developed with dedicated deliveries Monday thru Friday. Relationships in the restaurant/food service industry required. The main focus for this position is servicing existing customers while building new customers.  This position is a home-office based position that requires a self-motivated, career minded individual to travel locally within the assigned territory.
 
JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Maintain and manage sales and accounts relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Identify, isolate, and pursue new customer acquisition and conduct cold-calls for potential leads.
  • Work closely with delivery drivers to ensure prompt and efficient delivery that, may or may not, include providing relief deliveries for over loaded delivery schedule.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and providing excellent customer service.
  • Relationships in the restaurant industry required.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel required.
QUALIFICATIONS
·         Bachelor’s Degree highly desirable. Minimum of 3-5 years food service sales experience.
·         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
·         This position may require a flexible work schedule when necessary and may include non-traditional business hours.
·         Clean driving record a must.
